Project Overview
A French networking company offers a network solution for low-cost, simple, and wide-area IoT deployments. It can be installed on any existing LoRaWAN sensors and actuators, featuring lightweight and mobile infrastructure, self-organization and self-healing, low power consumption, wide coverage, and bidirectional communication. The system provides a licensed software stack and plug-and-play micro-gateways for connecting objects.
Main Products:
The system is a Long-Range Multi-Hop Relay (LRMHR) network, where each device can relay surrounding information over distances exceeding 1 km, with a depth of up to nine hops from the gateway. This system is the only network system that combines the high energy efficiency and low cost of mesh networks with extensive geographical coverage. The gateway of this system consumes less than 3W.h of power and radiates only tens of milliwatts. Compared to 5G, its cost is reduced by 1000 times, energy consumption is reduced by 100,000 times, and the electromagnetic footprint is reduced by 1 million times. The solution system consists of two parts: on the one hand, a certain micro-software suite can be embedded in connected LoRa devices or components without any substantial modifications to the installed infrastructure. On the other hand, micro-gateways can be installed on-site for rapid deployment of the system network.
